Join us as we honor our community’s rich and diverse heritage and traditions. Seven local elders representing diverse heritages will share their life wisdoms through their memories and stories. Friday will feature an on-stage “Conversation with Elders”, a Multi-Cultural food tasting & fellowship, and Notes To Our Children Memory Boards – A Visual History gallery exhibition.
The two day event will conclude on Friday evening as the Elders are honored with the performance of “Origins” a collaborative community dance production performed by Mason Valley Wind Spirit Dancers, Grupo Tualoc Danza Azteca, YHS Follkloric Dancers, Smith Valley School of Dance, Studio Dancers, and Walker River Eagle Wing Dancers.
Open to the public, Suggested $5. donation accepted at the door.

We have good news and bad news. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the April 15, 2011 Shirleys show has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The good news is that we have replace the show with a hot gypsy jazz band, The George Cole Quintet. All Shirleys tickets will be honored at the George Cole Quintet show on Friday, April 15, 2011.
