Youngsters and Oldsters join for evening of story with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom author John Archambault. Bring a grandchild, niece, nephew, son, daughter, or any youngster for a fun evening of outloud reading of this children’s favorite by noted author John Archambault.  Books will be available for purchase and signing.  6 pm, doors open at 5:30. Admission is free.

If you were to write a note to the younger generation, what words of wisdom would you offer?  YTA presents the 3rd Annual “Notes To Our Children; A Gathering of Elders” at the Jeanne Dini Center in Yerington May 15- 17. The Notes Project is a multicultural interactive program honoring Elders and their contributions to the diverse cultural heritage of the Walker River Basin community.  This year’s Community Elders include Joe Frade, Lloyd Giovacchini, Father Jorge Herrera, Carolyn Kenton, Irwin Miller, Evalina Picotte, Pauline Quilici,  Basil Quilici, Tomas Talamante, and Joe Tibbals.
